Lola's almost 2. Her language just exploded out of nowhere. She talks a lot but I am probably the only one who can understand a lot of what she says. She says "Hello" really clearly and also kind of formally. She'll sit down next to me, put her little hand on my leg, look deep into my eyes and say "Hello" like she's getting ready to deliver the evening news.
She says "I love you" to me and gives me hugs and kisses. She is so sweet and gentle but she can be willful and tough. I believe that's probably from having 2 older siblings (and a baby around the house) and being in day care. She's rarely tough on me though.
She loves Dora ("Do-wahhhh!"), Wonder Pets, and Yo Gabba Gabba. She sings a lot of the songs from Yo Gabba Gabba and especially likes the "It's time to dance!" song.
She doesn't know it yet but she is getting her very own Yo Gabba Gabba blanket and Foofa pillow for her birthday. I think she will be thrilled.
Lola has taken to roaring at people. Her voice gets really low and growly and she says "Roar."
Her mouth moves in funny little shapes while she's talking. It reminds me a lot of the kids from Southpark. It'll make funny little O's or triangles. It's adorable.
Lola likes to share. The other day when Abbey was in time out, Lola kept taking her pieces of popcorn to eat.
Lola likes to feed people. Like, actually put the food in their mouths. This is problematic in the way it relates to New Baby.
Lola, when surprised, will point her fingers at her dimples and make her eyes and mouth wide.
I can take a nap with Lola. She's the only one of my kids who will actually relax enough to do this.
